LUMORIA Black

A standing at the studio, not a points scheme. Members pay a member's rate, take the front of the diary, and get a number that answers instead of a form that doesn't.

It is never sold. There is nothing to apply for. It is handed to clients who earn it.

Some clients make
the work better.

They pay when they said they would. They brief once and mean it. They give feedback in one round instead of five. They don't renegotiate a fixed price after they've agreed it, and they don't make a Tuesday feel like a Monday.

A studio this size feels that difference in the P&L and in the work. Black is the part we give back — quietly, and only to them.

What the card is actually worth.

  1. A member’s rate

A standing rate below the published one, on everything in the catalogue — shoots, builds, retainers. It is applied to the quote before you see it. You never have to ask.

  2. Add-ons on the house

One add-on complimentary on every booking. The floor plan on a property shoot. The extra cut of the film. The second colourway. Whatever costs us an hour and saves you a decision.

  3. The front of the diary

Members are placed first. When the week is full, the last slot is a member’s slot — including the same-week and next-day ones we don’t publish.

  4. No deposit

Work starts on your word and is invoiced after. You have already proved you pay; we are not going to keep asking you to prove it.

  5. A direct line

A number, not a form. Answered the same day by the person doing the work — there is no one else here to pass you to.

  6. Your price, held

The rate you join on is locked for twelve months. When the published prices move — and they will — yours doesn’t.

  7. First refusal on capacity

One studio, one diary. When it is full, members are asked before it closes.

You can't buy it.
You can earn it.

No tiers, no points, no spend threshold to chase. What counts is how you work with us.

You pay on time

Invoices settled by the date on them, without anybody having to chase. It is the clearest signal there is.

You’re straightforward

Briefs arrive. Feedback comes in one round. Respect in both directions, which we owe you first.

You came early

Backing a studio before it was the obvious thing to do. It counts, and it only counts once.

You keep coming back

Work that turned into more work.

You send us good people

Vouching for a studio costs you something. That is the part that isn’t for sale.

House rules, in full. Membership is granted, never sold. Nobody is charged for it and nobody can apply. It is reviewed each quarter, and it can lapse — if the invoices stop landing on time, so does the rate. We don't publish the list, and we don't tell one member about another.

What we're planning,
stated as planned.

Four things we intend to add. None of them exists yet.

  • A members’ dinner

One table, once a year, with the people the studio was built on.

  • Print work

The good paper. The real thing on a wall, not a PDF of it.

  • Something at year end

Sent, not handed out. It will not be a branded pen.

  • First look

Whatever the studio builds next, shown to members before anyone else.

None of that exists yet, so none of it is a promise. The seven benefits above are live from the day you're handed the card; everything in this section is intent.

There's one way in.

Work with us, and be the kind of client we've just described. That's the whole mechanism — there isn't a clever route around it, and we'd think less of one.

Already a member? There's nothing to log into. Your rate is already on every quote and invoice we send you.
